what's this?

this is the place where you can leave your thoughts or read other people's. i'm sorry for the verification stuff but i've been getting a shitload of spam lately. this solution is simple enough for me to understand so i'll probably keep it.

 comment: nope, by hoobastank...
and do you know warning by incubus? i told pid that i didn't like incubus but that song eventually convinced me that they have done more great stuff than the warmth and drive.
the video clip is worth seeing also! (the one for warning, never saw the one for pieces i don't think)

comment: wow, one more of those wintertime-songs!
listened to that last year in december. was a time where after my retunr from the us i started to feel integrated again, like home was here.
kinda amazing that sometimes a melody and the words to go with it are so closely linked to a moment in your life and when you go and read them over again and listen to the song once or twice you find this was not an accident.

charon says: it's as if a single song could describe a specific mood better than words can...

comment: eventually, doing something is a matter of definition. to follow your own path means to find out what your personal abilities enable you to do. there are not many people who can stop a war or turn openly accepted injustice into justice.
there are millions who can see, who can understand. but force usually is not given to individuals, not on such a large scale. you are the only one of millions taking your own steps. and if you do that, you might touch someone. and start a chain reaction of changes.
but yes, there are millions of people knowing and not doin nothing. because they do not dare to. because what they could do feels superflous. whether it would be- i do not know. all we get is a million shots at finding out. and *choose to live + for always + stand against the faceless man* kinda.
